Title Sequence

 

There are many ways you can do a title sequence. You are allowed to be creative with this. Whatever you feel is needed you may add. You should be very careful how you edit your title sequence. Just as well as it can have good effects, it can have bad ones. The title sequence is most likely the very first thing you see in a film. Whether you like it or not people start to judge as soon as the screen comes on. If the title cards don’t attract the audience this could affect your reputation negatively. To me something that is very important is the transitions. This is what ties the title cards together. You have to make sure everything flows, this way it looks seamless. The way to do this would be making the clips line up, having good music, and most importantly having a good relationship with the film itself. What i mean by that is if you have a scary movie don’t put rainbows and glitter in your title sequence. Make sure it is appropriate and complements your film. Since I have done most of my filming and have started the editing process, I figured it would be a good time to start working on completing my title sequence. I have several ideas on how I want it to look. I am currently stuck between a few. I think my best bet would be to do maybe two and see which one goes better. Hopefully this method works for me. I have faith that it will and I will end up with a very interesting title sequence.

Planning my Starburst commercial

        For my Starburst commercial I will be using a variety of props. I will be using a pack of Starburst, a pack of Starburst minis, and a light box. Due to all the things going on in the world right now, my resources are limited. With this being said, I will be using prior knowledge to create my own light bow. This is very important because It brings attention to the item you want. I will also be using a box of some form to decorate. This will be the setting. During scenes it will be changed so that it can fit both settings. The box will consist of construction paper, grass, people like figures, and toy cars. My commercial will be filmed with a miniature world that is meant to look like the real world. One the candy is eaten it will transform into a parallel universe. Filming Techniques for my Music Video

  During the filming of my music video I experience something totally different than with the last two projects. This filming process was organized into three different parts. It is because of the multiple settings that I separated it this way. The first section is the beginning of the video. In the beginning we start off in the park. These scenes weren’t too difficult to film. Except for some issues with lighting. I had to find a way to get a good angle and still have the background I want. This took some time. Also, since this is the first few scenes I was still figuring out how I wanted to do the filming. As far as setting up the camera. Since I am in the video this was especially hard. I found that a good solution would be using a stand, kind of like a tripod, and a timer. This allowed me to start the camera then get in place.
