Title Research: The Hunt

  First, we started off by looking at a spiraling earth. Then words start to appear. This is the logo of Universal pictures. They start off every film of theirs this way. Then we get into the movie. The next thing we see are disclaimers and police badges. This sets the tone of the movie being a little much. What I mean by this is that it will either be graphic, disturbing or just too inappropriate to younger audiences. Next objects are being thrown all over the room. This can symbolize many things. For instance, this could demonstrate that there will be a messy plot. It coils also set the tone as violent. A feeling for the genre is established by the specific editing details. The main thing is the lighting. Lighting has multiple connotations. If it is light it means pure or good, if it dark it means evil or bad. In this case it was dark. Like in most others in this genre. Filming my Starburst commercial

m        With this project we had a choice between working alone and working with a partner. I chose to work along on this. Teamwork is essential and I feel that it can be fun for the most part. Sometimes I just like to do things like this on my own. It allows lots of room for me to express my creativity. To make a commercial, that takes a lot of creativity. There are so many aspects that should be well represented and it should be detailed. This is important because you want your audience to see it and immediately know what it is. This is the reason for conventions. Conventions are elements that are used in film to symbolize or represent an object or character. For instance, without the colors and emphasis on juiciness would you be able to recognize a Starburst commercial. During the filming of my commercial there were a lot of steps. Planning my Starburst commercial

        For my Starburst commercial I will be using a variety of props. I will be using a pack of Starburst, a pack of Starburst minis, and a light box. Due to all the things going on in the world right now, my resources are limited. With this being said, I will be using prior knowledge to create my own light bow. This is very important because It brings attention to the item you want. I will also be using a box of some form to decorate. This will be the setting. During scenes it will be changed so that it can fit both settings. The box will consist of construction paper, grass, people like figures, and toy cars. My commercial will be filmed with a miniature world that is meant to look like the real world. One the candy is eaten it will transform into a parallel universe. Everyone knows that things don't always go as planned. Therefore you should always have a backup plan. My backup plan really differs from my first plan.
