Starting the Final Task



    



Hello, my name is Aneyah Crowder. I am a Cambridge student who attends Fort Lauderdale High School. I am currently taking AICE Media Studies. One of my passions is art. I enjoy things like drawing, dancing, and everything associated with film. The art of film intrigues me the most. It has multiple different aspects that contribute to the final product. They always say it takes a village. This old, yet commonly used saying means that it takes a team to get something accomplished. Film is made up of a lot of different groups with specifically assigned tasks. They all come together to produce one movie. For this project I chose to work alone once again. This was not my first decision. I actually wanted to attempt doing group work. I felt that if I had other people to help with generating ideas and plans that the project would get finished in a more timely manner. While this is true, I can succeed just as well on my own. Due to all the recent events of 2020, like COVID, working alone is the most convenient and safe option. Not only is it the safer option, it is also the option I value the most. Working alone on projects like these are therapeutic to me. I know that I have not previously been individually doing my best work but, this is a problem I would like to fix on my own.

  Perspective is the way you see something. With this being said, everyone has their own perspective. People interpret things differently than each other. An example of this would be the famous saying,” Is the glass half empty or half full?” This is asking how someone perceives life. If the person sees the glass as half full they look at things positively, if they see it as half empty they look at things negatively. The catch to this is there is a set amount of water and both answers are right it just identifies your perspective. Perspective is often used in films of all genres. Filming Techniques for my Music Video

  During the filming of my music video I experience something totally different than with the last two projects. This filming process was organized into three different parts. It is because of the multiple settings that I separated it this way. The first section is the beginning of the video. In the beginning we start off in the park. These scenes weren’t too difficult to film. Except for some issues with lighting. I had to find a way to get a good angle and still have the background I want. This took some time. Also, since this is the first few scenes I was still figuring out how I wanted to do the filming. As far as setting up the camera. Since I am in the video this was especially hard. I found that a good solution would be using a stand, kind of like a tripod, and a timer. This allowed me to start the camera then get in place. Planning my Starburst commercial

        For my Starburst commercial I will be using a variety of props. I will be using a pack of Starburst, a pack of Starburst minis, and a light box. Due to all the things going on in the world right now, my resources are limited. With this being said, I will be using prior knowledge to create my own light bow. This is very important because It brings attention to the item you want. I will also be using a box of some form to decorate. This will be the setting. During scenes it will be changed so that it can fit both settings. The box will consist of construction paper, grass, people like figures, and toy cars. My commercial will be filmed with a miniature world that is meant to look like the real world. One the candy is eaten it will transform into a parallel universe. Everyone knows that things don't always go as planned. Therefore you should always have a backup plan. My backup plan really differs from my first plan.
